I am a qualified solicitor with legal experience in several distinct areas, all catering for entrepreneurs and small and medium businesses.

I have over 18 years of business experience having launched a student services agency in my early 20s. Being young and inexperienced, I have done it the hard way. My mission is to ensure that you do not have to. 

I have qualified as a solicitor in a leading law firm in London and set off to help small businesses get the support that they need that is flexible and affordable.

Starting or growing a business can be a daunting time, (trust me I know) but it does not have to be difficult. As a business owner you will have so much to think about that the legal  considerations will normally be pushed to the back burner and only revisited when serious issues arise, causing you and your family stress & anxiety, unnecessary diversion of valuable time and resources and unexpected expense. Not starting off on a good legal footing very often has far reaching, long lasting and very (very) expensive consequences. 

What sets me  apart from other lawyers is that I know what it feels like. I will work to understand your business, your goals and your concerns and will work tirelessly to address them. I do not do hard sell. I believe in long term working relationships where I can witness my clients’ business growth and I will always aim to provide you with practical, jargon free, commercially viable legal advice. 

My employment practice covers a wide spectrum of work ranging from advising on documentation to giving strategic advice to clients undergoing restructuring changes, negotiating severance packages and Employment Tribunal work, as well as data protection issues within the employment setting.

The commercial practice includes drafting various commercial legal documentation and assisting clients in negotiating agreement terms with their clients and suppliers, providing hands-on expertise on privacy, data governance and consumer protection law. 

The corporate practice includes legal consulting on setting up a business, buying or selling the business and legal documentation involved in preparing your business for sale.

A believer in the benefits of good working practice, I favour a commercially focused approach which helps clients establish long term business relationships which they wish to maintain and amicably resolve those which they do not.

Where conflict is unavoidable, I am known for my creativity, resolve and tenaciousness and will always go out of my way to bring about the resolution that my clients seek by providing client focused, accessible, cost conscious and dedicated service.

I also provide legal consultancy services through a leading London firm Hanne & Co Solicitors, where I assist and advise Claimants in respect of their legal rights.
